CEC Day 3

We started out of the hotel, and we had a little accident. Well, when I say "we" I mean me. There was a bit of water on the road, and I went down. I wasn't going very quickly, and I was wearing armor, so it's all good. The shirt took the worst of it.

We are at our lunch stop for the day. With all the activities of my fall, and everyone asking what happened (which I don't mind) I didn't have time to write updates at each stop.

We've had two stops today, and so far it's been the same at each. Fuel for the bike and water for me. And of course chatting with people. I also got to be interviewed for the news due to my fall. I'm not sure if that's a good thing. :)

I did manage to grab a photo with the team doctor. Thanks for fixing me up and keeping me on two wheels.

We finally made it to the hotel. On our way into to we had a press conference with the governor. 

There were a lot of people out to cheer for us and to say hello to the group. It was great to see so many people excited to see us. The CEC presented the governor with a document showing their appreciation.

Now that I'm in my room I get to relax for a bit. We'll see what the night brings.

Since there is a McDonald's right next to the hotel, I decided to give it a try. I got a cheese burger and a fry for about $1.70 USD. 

It wasn't bad. The meat was seasoned differently; I think it was a type of pepper. The fries were spot on.
